How do I find a school van near me?

Search by your area and your child's school, and you see the van drivers who cover that area, each with the monthly fare they charge. You ask the driver you want, they accept or decline, and once accepted you can track that van live and get an alert when your child boards. Drivers are listed only after their licence and vehicle papers have been checked.

How much does a school van cost per month in India?

A private school van usually costs between ₹500 and ₹2,500 a month, set mainly by distance from the school. The fare is agreed directly with the driver and paid to them — SchoolTrack does not collect it and takes no cut of it. Live tracking is ₹149 a month with a 7-day free trial.

My child's school has no bus. Can I still track the van?

Yes. You do not need your school to use SchoolTrack. Find a private van driver covering your area, and once they accept your child you get the same live map and the same boarding and drop alerts that a school bus parent gets. The two work independently of each other.

Is a private school van safe for my child?

A van is as safe as its driver, and most parents know very little about theirs. Several states — Maharashtra, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh among them — now require GPS, CCTV, a panic button and a speed governor in school vehicles. On SchoolTrack a driver is not shown to parents until their licence and vehicle registration have been uploaded and checked, and you can see where the van is at any point in the journey.

What is a school bus tracking system?

A school bus tracking system is software that shows a school bus's live GPS position on a map and sends parents automatic alerts when their child boards, gets off, or when the bus is approaching their stop. SchoolTrack combines live tracking, student attendance and driver safety tools in one system used by schools across Haryana and India.

How can I track my child's school bus live?

You track your child's school bus by opening the SchoolTrack parent app, where the bus appears on a live map with its current position, speed and estimated arrival time at your stop. The position updates every few seconds while the trip is running, and you get a notification when the bus is near.

Is school bus GPS tracking available in Haryana?

Yes. SchoolTrack is available across every district of Haryana, including Gurugram, Faridabad, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Panipat, Sonipat, Hisar, Karnal, Ambala, Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Rewari, Bhiwani, Sirsa, Jind, Kaithal, Palwal, Fatehabad, Mahendragarh, Charkhi Dadri and Nuh, as well as major cities across India.

Does the school need to buy GPS devices for every bus?

No. SchoolTrack runs from the driver’s own phone, so a school can start tracking without buying dedicated GPS hardware. Schools that already have GPS devices fitted can use those instead.

How does school bus attendance work?

Each child has a QR code or RFID card that the driver scans as they board and get off. The scan records the time and stop, sends the parent an instant alert, and builds an attendance history the school office can review or export.

What happens if the bus loses network coverage?

The driver app keeps recording GPS positions while offline and uploads them once the signal returns, so the trip history stays complete. Parents see the last known position with a clear note that the signal dropped, rather than a blank map.

How much does school bus tracking cost in India?
