Agreement

These terms form an agreement between you and SchoolTrack Technologies, Sector 44, Gurugram, Haryana 122003, India. By creating an account or using SchoolTrack you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a school or a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

The service

SchoolTrack provides live vehicle tracking, parent notifications, attendance recording, route management and trip history for school transport. It is delivered over the internet as a subscription. There is no hardware to buy: tracking runs from the driver’s own Android phone, and the parent app is a progressive web app.

SchoolTrack is a tool for managing transport. It is not a safety or emergency service and it does not supervise children. Responsibility for the safe carriage of a child rests with the school, the operator and the driver.

Accounts

• You must give accurate details and keep them current.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done through your account.
• One account is for one person. Sharing sign-in details is not permitted.
• A school driver’s account stays inactive until the school confirms they work there.
• Tell us immediately at hello@schooltrack.in if you believe your account has been used without permission.

Acceptable use

You may not use SchoolTrack to track a person without a lawful reason, to harass anyone, to break any law, or to attempt to reach another account’s data. You may not resell or redistribute the service without our written agreement, or attempt to copy, decompile or interfere with it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

Your data

The student, staff and route data you enter remains yours. You grant us permission to process it in order to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter another person’s data, including obtaining a parent’s consent where that is required.

Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance — monthly, quarterly or yearly — at the price shown when you subscribe. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST at the applicable rate.

Payments are handled by our payment gateway. A subscription runs until the end of the period paid for; it does not renew automatically unless you are told so at checkout and agree to it.

Cancellation and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Availability

We aim to keep SchoolTrack available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Tracking depends on the driver’s phone having power, a working GPS and a mobile signal. Where the signal drops, positions are recorded and uploaded when it returns, and parents see the last known position with a clear note rather than a blank map.

We carry out maintenance from time to time, and will give notice of planned downtime where we reasonably can.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a mobile network failure, a device failure, or inaccurate data entered by you.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using SchoolTrack and close your account at any time. We may end this agreement if you break these terms, or on 30 days’ written notice.

On closure we delete or anonymise personal data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
